About Chad Peters & The Xgroove

Chad Peters is an extreme drummer and innovative drum teacher based in Las Vegas, NV. After years of performing in the local metal scene with bands like Corrupt The Righteous and Of The Gods, Chad began a new journey — one that would push the boundaries of modern drumming.

Driven by a passion for ambidexterity and independence behind the kit, Chad built a unique double-sided drum set and devoted years to mastering both his right and left sides. By fusing extreme drumming techniques with simple grooves, he developed a distinct style — powerful, creative, and deeply rhythmic.

But technique alone wasn’t enough. Chad wanted to help others learn faster and play with more fluency. That’s when The Xgroove Method was born.

What started as a way to blend complex coordination into clean, musical drumbeats evolved into a full learning system. The Xgroove Method stacks drumming concepts on top of core grooves, guiding students through a multi-level structure that builds coordination, creativity, and confidence — from complete beginner to advanced player.
